Nancy Elawabdeh, MD

 

(Dr. Nancy)

Dr. Nancy is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics who completed her pediatric training at Baylor College of Medicine in San Antonio. After completing her training, She fell in love with the city and made many wonderful friends. She decided to stay and call San Antonio her new home.

Prior to establishing Brio Pediatrics, She worked at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Emergency Department as a general pediatrician taking care of various levels of illness from the common cold to life threatening conditions and COVID. This experience allows her to manage many illnesses in the clinic/home without need for an ER visit but know when it’s necessary to be evaluated in the ED and what to expect.

She and her husband welcomed thier son Elijah in the beginning of 2020 and daughter Mia in 2021 making her a better pediatrician. She developed a passion for breastfeeding and  got certified to practice breastfeeding medicine through the institute for the advancement of breastfeeding and lactation education (IABLE).

Our mission is to provide excellent medical care in a family centered environment. Our practice is dedicated to providing quality care by assuring that each patient receives individual and personal attention. We accomplish this standard through close collaboration between our staff, our patients and their families.

Our philosophy is shared by all our staff, from physicians to the front desk. We value the relationships with our families, and enjoy caring for newborns through young adults. 

As both a doctor and a parent, Dr. Nancy believes in a positive, happy experience for kids during their well and sick visits. We strive to accomplish that by providing as much comfort measures as feasible while providing a safe environment.  It means each child is given the individual attention and treated with care and gentleness as if they were our very own.
